This last stretch from Crater Lake to Ashland was a little sleepy. We were feeling generally pretty tired and ready for a break. In an effort to combat our tired legs and feet, we started having Happy Hour - a 10 minute stretch, yoga break at 5PM each day. It definitely helped, even though lacking in margaritas.
It was smoky from a wildfire in southern Oregon, so we had some hazy views and poor air quality. We were also super excited to get to Ashland, where we have been able to stay with an amazing woman and trail angel who we met up in Goat Rocks. Some much needed relaxation and refreshment awaited us here & we are very grateful!! Thanks Nancy!!

word of the day: nearo = almost doing 0 miles as a rest without fully taking a "zero" (no mileage day)
