California / by nigel grey

It has arrived! Or we have, rather. The long march through Cali begins.

It hasn't dissapaponted. Something about crossing the border feels more familiar but also more rugged. The terrain has been unrelenting in its beauty... and challenges. We were met with an 8 mile, 4,500 ft descent into Seiad Valley - lined with poison oak - followed by a 5,200 ft, 16 mile climb - lined with poison oak. Life is good.

As we relax at a lovely B&B in Etna, we're excited to share some new photos! Thanks for viewing. :)
